Lytro is developing a new type of camera that dramatically changes photography for the first time since the 18th century.
Ren Ng, the founder and CEO of Lytro, started this journey eight years ago when he was in the PhD program at Standford. He was frustrated that he couldn’t able to capture the spontaneous moment in life because of the limitations of cameras. That became his inspiration to create a camera that will forever change how everyone takes and experience pictures.
