We often joke around the office that a great program name can help sell any idea. Let’s face it, there are just some names – whether they are for a program or a brand – that creatively can say it all.
I had to chuckle when I came across a Springwise trendspotting post about College Hunks Hauling Junk and its sister business College Foxes Packing Boxes. Based in Washington D.C., this moving company taps local colleges and universities to find what it calls “the friendliest and most trustworthy junk haulers in the industry.” Apparently they’re doing quite well for themselves and currently have 14 locations with plans to expand to 30 franchises this year. They’ve even been featured in SmartCEO Magazine, The Washington Post and on Oprah.com. I’m pretty sure those would be tougher placements to secure if the company was called Chuck’s Moving Service.
