Video: Interns-For-A-Day Wow Us At Fast Horse
Five aspiring professionals shook things up at the Fast Horse World Headquarters during the past two weeks, visiting our shop for paid one-day internships. They earned their stints through the Fast Horse Experience Intern-For-A-Day program.
In the video below, you’ll see we started with the standard get-to-know-you office tours. After that, we put our interns to work on a collaborative project, asking them to come up with a marketing campaign for a fictional product launch. It was a tight schedule: We made them present their pitches at the end of the day to the assembled Fast Horse crew — a tough crowd for sure!
These bright young marketers did a great job. They hit the road to record consumer habits, shot a figure skating video, staged a tongue-in-cheek infomercial, interviewed University of Minnesota students, brainstormed with the Fast Horse crew and more.
See for yourself:
It was a fun, valuable experience for us and we certainly hope it was for our interns, too. If you missed the posts that these talented interns-for-a-day submitted to be selected for the program, here are their guest Idea Peepshow posts:
- Nate Knox: Old Guys Are Clever
- Callie Chamberlain: Drawn to Good Old Mount Rushmore
- Chelsey Johnson: Hack is Wack…is Wack
- Robert Dorsey: What Does it Mean to “Rule the Air”?
- Lauren Marosok: Bud Trades In Clydesdales For Thoroughbreds
This was not a one-time thing. The program lasts for a year and we’ll be looking for the next group in early 2011, so if you’re interested in applying, please do stay tuned for announcements on Facebook.
