What's Sarah Palin's Brand?
This is a new-product introduction on a grand scale: Sarah Palin, the young and little-known governor of Alaska, suddenly thrust onto America’s largest and most important stage. It will be interesting to see the brand messages both sides try to make stick.
From the Republicans: Youthful, energetic, mother. Hunter, hockey player. Pro-life, pro-family, evangelical. Woman.
From the Democrats: Inexperienced, anti-choice, corrupt. Untested, unready, creationist. Token woman.
Which messages will stick? Is this choice a brilliant stroke of political counter-intution or a clear sign of desperation?
